What recurring ledgers are

Recurring ledgers automatically create a new split ledger from an existing ledger on the schedule you set, which works well for weekly dinners, monthly household expenses, or other repeated activities.

1. Start from an existing ledger

Create a schedule from an existing ledger. The current members and items are kept as the template for future ledgers.

The time uses your current browser time zone. The actual creation time may drift by a few minutes.

2. Each run creates a brand-new ledger

When the scheduled time arrives, the system creates a new ledger for that cycle. The newly created ledger has no ongoing link to the original ledger, so you can think of it as an automatically created copy.

3. Manage schedules anytime

You can review all recurring schedules from the recurring ledger page, then edit, pause, resume, or delete them whenever needed.
